In addition, under “distribution” hit the studio Downpour Interactive, which was engaged in VR-games. Both firms are owned by Meta* (recognized in the Russian Federation as an extremist organization), which in total laid off about 4 thousand people amid its problems – and plans to increase this number to 10 thousand this year.
At the same time, a number of high-class technical specialists, including those in game studios, fell under the reduction. Some employees announced their layoffs on social networks, sharing heavy emotions about this.
Ready at Dawn Studios has done more than just The Order: 1886 and Lone Echobut also developed portable spin-offs God of War for PSP.
