Reading the Meaning of Sandiaga on foot to meet Prabowo after being attacked by Kamrussamad

Sandiaga Uno met Prabowo Subianto after the attack by Gerindra politician, Kamrussamad. Sandiaga’s visit was seen as an effort to show his relationship with Prabowo, who remained friendly even though he was attacked by Kamrussamad.

“Sandi wants to lock up the wild opinion that he and Prabowo have no problems. Stay compact and friendly as before,” said Parameter Indonesia Executive Director Adi Prayotno to reporters, Saturday (12/25/2021).

Adi assessed that the meeting with Prabowo was one of Sandi’s ways of dealing with attacks on him. He believed that, at the meeting, Sandi spoke about the issue of ijtima ulama who supported him in running for the 2024 presidential election as alleged by Kamrussamad of fabrication.

“The public sees that as part of Sandi’s way of resolving the polemics that have attacked him so far. Sandi must have spoken in detail about the accusations of fabricating the consensus of the ulama to Prabowo,” said Adi.

According to Adi, Sandi does not like to deny accusations against him in public. Adi assessed that Sandi had taken the right step by meeting Prabowo to resolve the chaos at Gerindra.

“This is typical of Sandi’s politics, who doesn’t seem too fond of arguing in public about anything. It seems for Sandi to face Prabowo is the only smart solution to solve all the chaos,” he said.

“Not replying to political rhymes that will actually show the existence of internal conflicts between the Gerindra elite. If you look at his track record, Sandi has almost never been involved in fighting opinions against each other in the public sphere,” he continued.

Furthermore, Adi believes that the content of the meeting between Sandi and Prabowo was one of them discussing the chaos with Kamrussamad. However, there are many other things that Adi considers to be discussed by Sandi and Prabowo.

“Perhaps a lot has been discussed between Prabowo and Sandi, but the public believes that one of the points of discussion is definitely the accusation of ijtima ulama,” he said.
