The reading challenge is a project that was created a few years ago with the aim of motivating students to read, by adding a slightly playful dimension to reading. “The goal is to have them read three books as a team and to work together to prepare ten questions including three games, explains Ms. Vincent, French teacher at Le Vignet college. When all the books are read and the quiz games are ready, they create a tech genre board with the help of techno teachers, Mr. Belot and Ms. Cabrera. “ This project is interdisciplinary between French, technology and the CDI. The objective is to meet in several classes around the games and power boards, thus, to have a fun and pleasant time while being interested in books and to get to enjoy reading. At the end, it is obvious that there will be a winning class, knowing that the real winners will be the five 4th year classes of Lycée Le Vignet. A game that is renewed once a quarter to the delight of children.
