From 1:00 PM you can follow everything about the Rotterdam derby Sparta-Feyenoord on Radio Rijnmond and the live blog.

At 13:00 the radio broadcast started from the Castle. Dennis van Eersel and Dennis Kranenburg will commentate on the match. The presentation will be in the hands of Jesse van Someren. Read the live blog of the match below.

This will be the 144th meeting between the Rotterdam clubs. Last season, the points were shared at the Kasteel by a goal in injury time by Leo Sauer. That made it 2-2.

The Rotterdam derby ends in a draw! A strong Sparta rewards itself too little against a mediocre and slow Feyenoord.

95′ Big chance for Feyenoord!

In the final seconds Hancko gets a huge chance but the ball is cleared out of the goalmouth.

90′ 5 minutes injury time

Referee Bos adds five minutes.

89′ Pinch hitter Brym comes in

Rijsdijk brings in Brym as pinch hitter. Lauritsen leaves.

86′ Free kick Feyenoord in a dangerous position, yellow card for Metinho

Nadje wins the ball in midfield and wants to take a shot. He is brought down by Metinho in a dangerous position. He receives a yellow card Calvin Stengs takes the free kick. The ball goes through the wall, but does not cause any problems for Olij.

83′ Feyenoord seems to think a draw is enough

Feyenoord slows down the game to get a point across the line. They have ten men on the field. Sparta is still going for it.

The duo M&M (Metinho and Mito) come in for goalscorer Neghli and Verschueren.

Japanese Ayase Ueda must provide salvation at Feyenoord. He comes in for Gimenez.

The foul on Paixao was made just outside the penalty area. So no penalty for Feyenoord, but a free kick. Kasanwirjo takes aim, but shoots into the wall.

A penalty for Feyenoord after Paixao is brought down in the penalty area.

70′ Wellenreuther save

Wellenreuther keeps Feyenoord on their feet again. He tips Neghli’s shot out of the top corner.

Brian Priske takes out goal scorer Timber and Smal. Nadje and Kasanwirjo come in.

Pelle Clement is out for the slightly more defensive Joshua Kitolano.

Ramiz Zerrouki stands on the foot of a Sparta player and rightly receives a second yellow card. Feyenoord must continue with ten men.

Goal by Feyenoord! Quinten Timber fires the ball low inside. Out of nowhere, it’s suddenly equal at the Kasteel.

55′ Feyenoord escapes with a scare!

Verschueren shoots from a distance and Wellenreuther lets the ball go. In the rebound, Lauritsen should make his goal, but he pushes the ball wide. Feyenoord crawls through the eye of the needle.

In the switch, Tobias Lauritsen puts Nassoh in front of the keeper. The left winger shoots a bit wildly and Wellenreuther is in the right place.

Feyenoord starts fiercely in the first five minutes after the break. The tempo increases somewhat. It continues to look threatening, but real chances remain absent for the Rotterdammers from the south.

46′ The second half has started

Priske made a substitution at half-time, because he realised that something had to change. Hadj-Moussa came in and replaced Zechiël.

Referee Bos blows his whistle for half-time and the men can have tea. There is a lot of repair work to be done for Brian Priske’s men. The tempo is far too slow to really make it difficult for the Spartans. Sparta has its affairs more than perfectly in order.

45′ Yellow card Eerdhuijzen

Eerdhuijzen delivers a dirty kick on the sideline. He too disappears into referee Bos’s book.

45′ 3 minutes injury time

Referee Bos adds three minutes of injury time. Can Feyenoord make a comeback just before half-time?

34′ Hancko fined after protest

After Neghli’s goal, Hancko protests perhaps not entirely unjustly to referee Bos, because Verschueren is lying on the ground with a head injury. The referee is not pleased and hands the Slovak a yellow card.

WHAT A GOAL BY CAMIEL NEGHLI! Wellenreuther has to come out far, because Smal is not paying attention. He has to win the header from Verschueren and the ball ends up at the feet of Neghli. He does not hesitate for a moment and shoots it in fantastically!

32′ Second yellow card of the match

Ramiz Zerrouki is fined after a hard slide in midfield.

Van der Kust receives the yellow card from referee Bos. The Sparta player gave Calvin Stengs an ugly tap. The free kick yielded nothing.

23′ Justin Bijlow is sung to

The departing Justin Bijlow is sung to by Het Legioen. He comes out of the dugout and gets a thunderous applause. What a nice gesture!

The Feyenoord keeper hesitates in the build-up and shoots the ball against Nassoh. Feyenoord can react just in time to prevent a big chance and defends the ball out.

10′ First ten minutes over

The first ten minutes are over. Feyenoord has the ball a lot, but is sloppy. Sparta has had one big chance. There is still no clearly better team.

Feyenoord get a corner and Stengs finds Paixão. The Brazilian shoots just over the goal from the edge of the penalty area.

Sparta’s first attack after five minutes lands on Lauritsen’s head and he heads it onto the crossbar via Wellenreuther’s fingertips. Sparta could already smell the goal!

The players are ready and the ball rolls onto Het Kasteel. Sparta wins the toss. Referee Alex Bos has blown the whistle for the start of the match.

Bijlow sits on the bench for the last time

Justin Bijlow leaves for his new club Southampton immediately after the match.

Priske on the absence of the trio: ‘I hope to have them back soon’

The three absentees at Feyenoord seem to be able to recover relatively quickly. “It was a difficult week. Yesterday in particular was very tough for us. Milambo woke up with pain and during the session Bueno sustained a small injury. Bart has been struggling all week. We hope that they will rejoin soon and that we will take three points to the other side of the bridge today.”

Just under half an hour before the start

Just under 30 minutes left before the Rotterdam derby kicks off. The players are ready.

The goalkeepers enter the field

The first players warm up for the clash. Sparta’s goalkeepers enter the field to loud applause.

Three players missing from Feyenoord

Bart Nieuwkoop, Antoni Milambo and Hugo Bueno are not in the selection. The trio is not fit enough.

Sparta’s line-up is also in!

Coach Jeroen Rijsdijk chooses the following eleven names. Meissen replaces Quintero.

Feyenoord line-up announced, Smal makes debut

Olij, Reith, Meissen, Eerdhuijzen, Van der Kust, Baas, Clement, Neghli, Lauritsen, Verschueren, Nassoh

Wellenreuther, Geertruida, Beelen, Hancko, Smal, Zerrouki, Timber, Zechiël, Stengs, Gimenez, Paixão
