Rara Istiati Wulandari alias Mbak Rara finally opened her voice after not being asked to be the rain handler at World Superbike or WSBK Mandalika 2023. Rara emphasized that not being invited doesn’t mean she can’t sell.
Previously, the WSBK Mandalika committee said that Rara had failed to stop the rain at the Mandalika MotoGP last year. That’s why they are reluctant to use his services again at the Mandalika WSBK.
Rara said, although MGPA was not invited as the promoter, there were many requests from other agencies. In fact, its value is much greater.
“Since the preparations for WSBK 2022 yesterday, I also no longer wanted to officially be hired by PT PP, who at that time contacted me to prepare asphalt in Mandalika. (At that time) it was estimated that asphalt would take 14 days,” wrote Rara Pawang Rain through a social media account. the official, quoted Saturday (4/3).
“I refused not to take a long time to the location at that time because I was focused on handling coal mines and handling state activities as I usually do (as) a handler,” he added.
Rara claimed that he had previously helped “control” the rain during the paving process for the Mandalika Circuit. However, it was not invited or paid, but voluntarily of his personal desire.
“During the asphalting in Mandalika, I helped the rain handler free of charge when it was cloudy when it was cloudy coordinating with many PT PP colleagues, because I love Indonesia, the asphalting must be successful. In fact, for two weeks, the asphalting went smoothly, the weather was sunny,” he explained.
Rara once again emphasized that not being asked to be a handler does not mean that she is not selling well. What’s more, he admits that he has pocketed quite a lot of money from other projects.
“The contract value at the coal mine is enough for me, plus the payment for special events is not bad, that’s why I don’t want to be officially hired to handle Mandalika,” he said.
“Well, WSBK 2022 yesterday I came because I missed the atmosphere under the Mandalika sky and missed my ITDC colleagues, MGPA and the marshals who at that time I helped too. The sky was cloudy several times, with His permission it can stay bright,” he added. .
