According to the American newspaper, The Wall Street Journal, two batches of the vaccine will be tested in up to 25 volunteers, to monitor the response of their immune systems to the vaccine against the virus.

The new vaccine targets the protein protuberances in the surface of the virus, which makes it easier for humans to transmit and helps by penetrating cells.

The new vaccine is called mRNA-1273.

Although the vaccine came relatively early, it may take up to 18 months, before it is officially released and distributed to the market, if it is proven to be effective.

Once the potential new vaccine was announced, the manufacturer’s shares on the New York Stock Exchange rose 15 percent on Tuesday, after the company announced that the vaccine had reached the testing stage.

The announcement of the new vaccine came after the administration demanded $ 2.5 billion to counter the spread of the deadly virus in the United States.

To date, 14 cases of the new virus have been recorded in the United States, as well as 39 cases of people who have been returned from the “Diamond Princess” ship that was stuck in Japan.
