“RC Lens U17s Win International Tournament of Saint-André-les-Lille”

This weekend, the U17s of RC Lens played in the international tournament of Saint-André-les-Lille. A competition where Racing is present every year.

The RCL won this prestigious competition by winning the final against LOSC after a penalty shootout (0-0, 5 tab 3). The artesian course was also marked by penalty shootouts. After a group stage where the Racing emerged with 2 draws 0-0 against Real Sociedad then against CSKA Sofia, the Artesians have gone through penalties to eliminate the Los Angeles Galaxy (0-0, 4 pens 5) in the quarter-finals then Club Brugge (0-0, 4 pens 5) in the semi-finals.

This is the 2nd time that the RC Lens won this tournament after a first success in 2007.
