The night had started like any other awards ceremony for the members of RBD who were present at the Premios Lo Nuestro 2024. Christopher Uckermann and Christian Chávez walked the red carpet sending greetings to their fans, hoping to win the award for which they were nominated.
Later, a video emerged on Christopher’s social media in which he and Christian were inside a car when they were supposed to be at the awards ceremony. They both looked disappointed and explained what happened to RBD at the Premios Lo Nuestro 2024.
“We are not going to be with you, you gave us the wrong tickets and that is something that surprises me a little, but well apparently, a strange organization. The nominees could not enter the event,” said Chirstopher Uckermann very seriously.
Even though they were nominated, it turned out that they did not have assigned places, so they were not allowed access to the event, so when they announced that RBD won the award for Best Pop Group, there was no one to collect it.
As expected, RBD fans exploded against the organizers of the Premios Lo Nuestro, who have not commented on the matter.
