Two Russian women reached the final of the World Boxing Championship in India
Anastasia Demurchyan and Natalia Sychugova reached the finals in the weight categories up to 70 and up to 63 kg respectively

Russians Anastasia Demurchyan and Natalia Sychugova made it to the final of the World Boxing Championship in New Delhi.
Demurchyan, who competes in the weight category up to 70 kg, defeated Chinese Zhou Pan with a score of 5:0 in the semifinals.
Sychugova (up to 63 kg) defeated Colombian Camila Gabriela Camilo Bravo in her semi-finals – 4:1.
In the final, Demurchyan will face 38-year-old Australian Kay Scott, the silver medalist of the 2016 World Cup in Astana, while Sychugova will face Chinese Yang Chengyu.
Another Russian woman, Diana Pyatak (over 81 kg), became the owner of bronze, losing in the semifinals to Khadija Mardi from Morocco with a score of 0:5.
Kosovar woman withdrew from the World Boxing Championships in India due to the condition to compete without a flag
Athletes perform at the tournament with the Russian flag and anthem.
The World Championship will end on March 26th.
