Russian tennis player Ekaterina Alexandrova failed to reach the semifinals of the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami (USA) with a prize pool of $8.8 million.

Alexandrova lost to the 12th racket of the world Czech Petra Kvitova in the quarterfinal match with a score of 6:4, 3:6, 6:3. Tennis players spent 2 hours and 12 minutes on the court.
