The information that Stanislav Cherchesov can lead Dynamo Moscow is not true. About this Sport24 declared at Ferencváros, the current club of the former head coach of the Russian national team.
“The news that Stanislav Cherchesov can leave Ferencvaros and lead Dynamo Moscow is another rumor that we will not comment on in any way. The Russian specialist is dedicated to work in our club, and he has a valid contract, ”the press service of Ferencváros reported.
Earlier, the possible appointment of Cherchesov to Dynamo was reported by journalist Nobel Arustamyan.
The Turkish club responded to reports of interest in Cherchesov
Cherchesov has been heading Ferencváros since December 2021. Under his leadership, the team from Budapest last season became the champion of Hungary and also won the Hungarian Cup.
This season, Ferencváros for the first time in 47 years reached the playoffs of European competition. In the 1/8 finals of the Europa League, the Hungarian team eventually lost to the German Bayer.
Cherchesov’s contract with Ferencváros runs until the summer of 2024.
In the national championship, the team of 59-year-old Cherchesov is in first place, gaining 51 points in 25 matches. In the next meeting on April 8, Ferencvaros will play away with Paks.
