Leipzig – never has RB Leipzig lost in competitive games against VfL Bochum or even lost a point. And that’s how it should stay after the seventh meeting on Sunday (3.30 p.m. / DAZN) in Bochum.

That’s what the people of Leipzig want in order not to fall behind in the fight for the Champions League qualification for the coming season.
“I have great respect for the season that VfL has played so far as a promoted team. It’s remarkable how stable and consistent they are in the second half of the season,” said RB coach Domenico Tedesco (36).
His team doesn’t have to hide in Bochum, where FC Bayern recently lost 4-2. The progress in the Europa League on Thursday with the 3-1 win at Real Sociedad San Sebastian should have released new strength.

Now Bayern also wants him: RB Leipzig’s Nkunku is spoiled for choice

“Due to the quality of our squad, we can change the starting eleven again and again, depending on the tactical orientation and load management, without losing quality,” said Tedesco. “There’s a good spirit in the team at the moment. The lads wear it and pull along really well.”
Tedesco still has to do without one player in Bochum: Josko Gvardiol (20). The defender has to sit out because of the fifth yellow card. Nordi Mukiele (24) should return to the team for him.
