Leipzig RB Leipzig has outclassed the self-proclaimed big city club Hertha BSC, while VfL Wolfsburg suffered their first defeat of the season at TSG Hoffenheim. 1. FC Köln scores at Eintracht Frankfurt. Bielefeld is subject to Union.
RB Leipzig – Hertha BSC 6:0 (3:0)
RB Leipzig has shot the frustration of the weak start to the season from its soul against its favorite opponent. The overwhelmingly superior runner-up won his home game against Hertha BSC 6-0 (3-0) and ended the earnings crisis and the first discussions about coach Jesse Marsch in an impressive way. RB has not had more victories (9) and goals (31) than against the Berlin club against any other Bundesliga team.

The outstanding Christopher Nkunku (16th and 70th), Yussuf Poulsen (23rd), Nordi Mukiele (45th + 3), Emil Forsberg (60th / foul penalty) and Amadou Haidara (77th) crowned Leipzig’s best goals so far Seasonal performance. It was also a successful dress rehearsal for the second Champions League group game next Tuesday (9 p.m. / DAZN) at home against the Belgian champions FC Bruges.

Eintracht Frankfurt’s draw kings continue to stand still in the Bundesliga. The Hessians came against the form strong 1. FC Köln not more than a 1: 1 (1: 1) and set the club record with the fifth draw in a row. Coach Oliver Glasner has to wait for his first victory at the SGE even after eight competitive games.

Rafael Borre (45 + 6) prevented at least the first home defeat in 476 days with his first Bundesliga goal. Ellyes Skhiri (14th) had given Cologne an early lead. The almost relegated last season is still stable under Steffen Baumgart. The Rhinelander have been unbeaten for four games, which never succeeded in the weak preseason.

1. FC Union Berlin – Arminia Bielefeld 1: 0 (0: 0)
Union Berlin has successfully defended the Alte Försterei fortress again. The Eiserne won 1-0 (0-0) against Arminia Bielefeld on the 6th matchday of the Bundesliga and remained unbeaten in the league for the 20th time in a row at home. The team of coach Urs Fischer thus kept the connection to the European Cup places, Joker Kevin Behrens (88.) scored the late winning goal. Bielefeld meanwhile has to wait for the first success of the season.

TSG Hoffenheim – VfL Wolfsburg 3: 1 (1: 1)
VfL Wolfsburg have to let Bayern Munich go for the time being. The Lower Saxony lost on the 6th matchday of the Bundesliga 1: 3 (1: 1) at TSG Hoffenheim. Due to the first defeat of the season in front of an extremely weak crowd, coach Mark van Bommel’s team missed the point of catching up with the leaders.

Andrej Kramaric (45th + 2), Christoph Baumgartner (73rd) and Pavel Kaderabek (81st) scored for the Hoffenheim team, who now have eight points.
