Amos Pieper is the latest center-back linked to a signing by RB Leipzig.
Arminia Bielefeld’s Amos Pieper has become an informed target for RB Leipzig, who are looking for a new center-back.
According to Bild, the 23-year-old is lined up as an alternative to his first priority, Maxence Lacroix of Wolfsburg.
Leipzig has been trying to get Lacroix to Red Bull Arena for weeks, but has yet to agree on a transfer fee with Wolfsburg.
Pieper only has a one-year deal with Bielefeld.
Leipzig has also been linked to transfers from Freiburg’s Nico Schlotterbeck and Celtic’s Kristoffer Ajer.
