At half-time, VfB deservedly led 1-0 thanks to Serhou Guirassy’s goal (36 minutes), but in the second half Leipzig turned up the heat and shot through Benjamin Henrichs (51′), Dani Olmo (63′), Lois Openda ( 66th), Kevin Kampl (74th) and Xavi Simons (76th) a deserved but too high victory.
