RB set a record last season
30,500 fans had previously extended their old season tickets. The rest – a limited contingent of seats for sector B and the upper tiers in A and C – went into free season ticket sales on Tuesday. After a few hours the campaign was over.
Last year, RB set a new record with 32,200 season tickets sold. Only Schalke 04 (40,000) and Borussia Dortmund (55,000) brought more of the coveted tickets to the fans.
