Caden Clark should be awarded to the New York Red Bulls for another six months. As the Picture newspaper tweeted, the young American did not fly to Germany, where preparations for the second half of the season will start on Monday at RB Leipzig.
In the summer the club had secured the services of Clark and actually loaned him back to New York by the winter. There he made the jump to the play-offs, but where his team failed in the first round. Jesse Marsch had already announced that RB would consider a change before the second half of the season. Given the club’s current situation, it is unlikely that Domenico Tedesco will be able to entrust the 18-year-old with playing time immediately, especially since he was no longer a regular in New York recently.
