Razma shows resistance, but withdraws in the first round of the World Cup

Madars Razma suffered a loss in the first round of the World Darts Championship organized by the Professional Darts Corporation in London on Thursday.

Razma lost to Irish Steve Lennon in the first round with up to three winning sets with 1-3.

In the first set, the first dart was won by a Latvian dart thrower, but in the next three, the Irishman was superior.

The second set started similarly, with Razma in the first leg and Lenon in the second. After that, the Latvian won in two legos, equalizing the result according to the sets – 1-1.

Lennon was third in the third set, winning 3: 2. Twice he took the lead, winning the legus, and twice Razma was able to play. In the fifth leg, however, the Irish dart thrower was better.

Also in the fourth set, Lennon celebrated the success with 3: 2, entering the second round. He won the first leg, the Latvian in the next two leg, but the Irish won the last two leg in this game.

Razma is ranked 49th in the world, while Lennon is 52nd.

In the second round, Lennon will have a meeting with Poly Kastof Ratajski on Friday, who will be seeded with the 12th issue in the championship. Ratajskis’ best achievement in the world championships is entering the eighth final in 2017.

The Alexandra Palace World Championships in London will end on January 3rd.-

The total prize pool for the 2022 World Cup is £ 2.5 million (€ 2.945 million). In the first round, Razma earned £ 7,500.

Razma made his debut at the PDC World Championship in 2019, stopping in the first round, but last year he overcame the first round.
