“Razer’s 2023 BlackShark V2 Pro: Upgraded Battery Life, Bluetooth Support, and More”

Razer is releasing a refreshed 2023 version of the BlackShark V2 Pro. The wireless headset has a battery life of 70 hours, which is almost three times as long as the battery life of the original. The headphones are now available for 230 euros.

The Razer 2023 BlackShark V2 Pro is an updated version of the headphones of the same name released in 2020. The 2023 edition, on the other hand, is equipped with some new gadgets, including the mentioned significantly longer battery life of 70 hours. The headset is also charged with a USB-C cable and, according to Razer, is full enough for 6 hours of use within 15 minutes of charging. The headphones would also have an improved detachable microphone, while the ear cushions should provide noise reduction.

Razer also adds Bluetooth support to the updated BlackShark V2 Pro. The original could only connect to a PC or console via an included 2.4GHz USB-A dongle; that option is still there, but now Bluetooth 5.2 support is added. With this, the brand states that the headphones can connect wirelessly to PCs and PlayStation consoles via the dongle or a Bluetooth connection to other mobile devices. With a switch on the ear cup you can switch between different inputs. There seems to be no 3.5mm connection anymore.
