LONDON – One of the concept kits that Razer is introducing at CES 2021 is a high-tech face mask with RGB lights known as the Project Hazel.
Not just a concept, apparently the company is not playing around with these devices, Razer plans to produce these sophisticated masks.
CEO Razer Min-Liang Tan said they plan to make Project Hazel masks a reality.
The Project Hazel mask looks like a ninja-Blade Runner crossover film with RGB lighting and a transparent front cover that lets people see the user’s mouth.
Launching from Engadget, Sunday (28/3/2021) this mask also has an internal microphone and speaker that can make the user’s voice loud when speaking.
Despite the technology, this mask is still expected to be as effective as the N95 mask with a bacteria filtering efficiency pod that can filter 95 percent of particles in the air.
These masks will also be provided with adjustable straps to create an airtight seal and will have the ability to vent CO2 and bring in fresh air.
However, the company cannot confirm when the masks will be produced, but he did explain why Razer finally decided to produce them.
Tan realized that people would still protect themselves with masks even after vaccinating. This also shows the fact that many people are bored with masks on the market.
Additionally, many countries may not be able to vaccinate their entire population in the next year or two. This means tourists must continue to wear masks for protection.
“So with that in mind, we will continue and finalize the sustainability aspect of the mask which is one of the big things for us,” said Tan.
