The Prime Minister received the Consul General Momira M. Radunovic on Thursday April 25, 2024, who invited him to participate from May 18 to 21, 2024, in the agricultural fair that will be organized in Serbia.
The Prime Minister, speaking to the Consul General Momira M. Radunovic, was informed about this agricultural fair, and the opening event will be held in the presence of the president and all the Serbian authorities. The Prime Minister’s guest also explained that stocks of various food producers and distributors will be displayed at this fair.
In fact, thanks to this invitation to Serbia, Gabon intends to create partnerships in this sector of agro-business for economic development, a sector where the Transitional Government aims to turn the trend on back, by reducing the import of food products that cost almost 400. billion CFA francs per year to the Gabonese state.
Note that, in addition to the agricultural sector, the Prime Minister spoke to the consul about relaunching a partnership that benefits both countries in the construction sector. “We are going to meet new partners in the field of road and building construction,” she said while saying that memorandums of understanding will be signed at the end of this fair.
