The Prime Minister received a delegation from the Africa Global Logistic (AGL) group led by its Director General of Ports and Terminals, Olivier de Noray, a project for the modernization of the ports of Owendo and Port-Gentil on Wednesday December 20, 2023.
The meeting between the Prime Minister and the Director General of Ports and Terminals, Olivier de Noray, was an opportunity to present the said project. ambition which is part of this company’s desire to make these port platforms modern, efficient and competitive infrastructures, capable of meeting the expectations of national and international customers.
Thus, Olivier de Noray informed the head of government that by April 2024 the port of the economic capital of Gabon and that of the commune of Owendo should undergo major developments in order to decongest them. To this end, the company proposed the sum of 20 billion FCFA to undertake redevelopment and modernization work on these port structures.
Remember that Africa Global Losistic is a major player in the Gabonese port sector. Its ambition is to strengthen its contribution to the development and diversification of the Gabonese economy.
