David Martínez Álvarez, better known as Rayden, his stage name, has announced that he is leaving music permanently. The musician has shared a post on his social networks where he explained the news that has taken his audience by surprise: “It is difficult to write (from the heart) a farewell letter without going too far —or falling into sensationalism— when all you want to express is gratitude. See you for the last time on this farewell tour, where each concert of this farewell tour is going to be that: a thank you letter“.
The news was accompanied by a video of the artist in which shows himself reminiscing about past moments and next to his son, a letter expressing how he feels and a poster with the dates of the last tour “I want us to see each other again for the last time.” “There comes a day when you know. A voice within you says that the work is complete. that you already got it. That you have already left your mark. That already…”, Rayden explained in said letter. It seems that for the musician, this It has not been an easy decision to make.although he is not melancholic and makes an effort to show the gratitude that he says he feels towards his audience.
