Musician from Bandung, Ray Viera Laxmana, is currently in the public spotlight after admitting to being a ticket fraud for the Arctic Monkeys concert.
Through his Twitter account, Ray admitted that he was ready to take any risks from his bad actions.
On social media, Ray continues to come under fire. He was forced to return the money to prospective Arctic Monkeys concertgoers.
“I hereby apologize profusely and I am ready to pay compensation in accordance with the nominal transactions that have occurred periodically,” wrote Ray Viera Laxmana quoted by detikcom from his Twitter account @rayvieralaxmana, Saturday (18/3/2023).
“I am also ready to accept all the risks for my actions, whatever the risks. For those who feel aggrieved and have not been replaced, you can contact me via my DM,” he continued.
Ray admitted that he was forced to do this because of economic problems. He allegedly needed money for the treatment of his parents who were ill.
The victim’s loss was estimated at IDR 95.2 million. This figure is the total loss of 23 potential Arctic Monkeys viewers.
“Update: 23 people, a total loss of IDR 95.2 million. @rayvieralaxmana what are you going to do with the money?” write account @sxmmerwine_.
This account also states that some of the victims have met Ray and his family to demand compensation.
The victims are also discussing how to resolve this issue at a court of law or resolve it amicably.
“Some of the victims have met and chatted with Ray and his family. From Ray’s side, they have also acknowledged and are willing to take responsibility. Whether you want a legal settlement or not, everything returns to the agreement between the victims,” he concluded.
As information, the Arctic Monkeys concert will be held today, Saturday (18/3/2023) at Beach City International Stadium Ancol, North Jakarta.
