In addition to a variety of self-created letters, we have amazing, authentic live music by and with two great musicians who are no less part of the “old guard” of rock n’ roll and who made history in the field of – art too. RAY VAN ZESCHAU – singer, photographer and filmmaker. He wrote art history with his experimental films, the film group FESA and the band “Friends of the Italian Opera” founded in 1988. He was part of the first illegal film festival in Dresden, the production Faust I & II at the Dresden State Theater in 1989, and works as a freelance journalist for several magazines and newspapers. His documentary film about his uncle, the Bulgarian painter and graphic artist Ljuben Stoev, released and co-produced in 2023, sold several cinemas. RAJKO GOHLKE – started his musical career in 1987 as a guitarist in the band “Das Phenomen”, which renamed itself “Art Of The Legendary Tishvaisings” and appeared on John Peel’s BBC show Radio 1 with their first recording. Other band projects followed over the years such as “DOD”, “Think About Mutation” and many more. Rajko & Ray not only share years of friendship, but also several band projects together. So we look forward to RAY-N-RAJKO as a special level optovisual acoustic duo with concert credentials. For the musical LIVE-ACT there is an extended presentation with art by Jens Pollak and a chance to talk to him. We are looking forward to a relaxing evening of music, art and drinks.
