Rawda topped the under-2000 category with 8 points out of 9 rounds and did not lose any match after winning 7 matches and drawing in two matches, and won the title before the end with a round, while Wafia Darwish Al-Maamari, our national team player, came in second place, and won the runner-up cup. With a score of 6.5 points, the Iranian Rehal Kayani came third, and Maryam Issa, our national team player, won the third place and the bronze medal in the category under 1700 points, after scoring 6 points in 9 rounds.
Rawdat Al Serkal dedicated her continental achievement, which is achieved for the second time after winning the silver medal in the last edition of the championship in the Sultanate of Oman, to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chair of the Family Development Foundation “Mother of the Emirates”, for her great support and motivation.
