OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Baltimore Ravens activated catcher Dez Bryant from the reserve / COVID-19 list, though there is uncertainty as to whether the catcher actually had the virus.
Bryant, 32, lost two games after testing positive half an hour before his anticipated game against his former team, the Dallas Cowboys, on Dec. 8. After being removed from the field that day, he tweeted that he had had several negative results in the previous days, but the Ravens placed him on the reserve / COVID-19 list for five days.
The move means Bryant is available to play the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. In three games this season, he has four receptions for 28 yards.
In addition to Bryant, cornerback Terrell Bonds was taken off COVID-19 / reserve list and placed back on injured reserve.
The Ravens have only one player, safety Geno Stone, on the reserve / COVID roster. During the contagion in Baltimore, the team put 23 total items on the list.
