2 to 0 for the Giallorossi at Benelli, fourth victory out of four for the new coach Marchionni
Il Ravenna Marchionni only knows how to win. Fourth match with the new coach and fourth victory for the Giallorossi, the most important, in derby against Forlìovertaken to second place in the group D standings, just 3 points behind leaders Tau Altopascio (expected on Sunday 10 November from the match against Progresso, on simple paper).
A derby won 2-0 (with goals scored by Manuzzi and Rrapaj) on a festive Saturday evening, in front of a crowd of superior categories. About 4mila those present at the Benelli (practically no one in the away section reserved for Forlì fans…), eager to leave Serie D as soon as possible to return to professional football.
Coming to the match, after a disappointing first half, with Forlì dominating the game, Ravenna closed it out by entering the second half possessed and scoring two goals in a few minutes: the great protagonist was the Captain Rrapajfirst with an assist from the left to the kiss for Manuzzi and then with a goal in the melee following the development of his cross. In the final it was suffering again for the Giallorossi, with Forlì complaining about a goal disallowed a few minutes from the end and a penalty not awarded in full injury time. The result does not change and the party belongs entirely to Ravenna, with President Cipriani who enters the field at the end to party together with players and fans.
Next Sunday Ravenna will be busy at Corticella then it will be the turn of another crowd, Sunday 24 Novemberwhen the league leaders arrive at Benelli, the surprising one Tau Altopascio.
