Raúl Jiménez, Mexican striker for Wolverhampton Wanderers, left the London hospital where he was admitted and is already at home with his family after suffering a skull fracture last Sunday against Arsenal.
Jiménez was transferred to his home, where he rests with his partner, Daniela, and their daughter, Arya.
This was confirmed by the Wolverhampton Wanderers coach, Nuno Espirito Santo, to the Sky Sports network before the game against Liverpool that his team lost 4-0.
Raúl is improving and gradually returning to normality
“Raúl has returned home. We are delighted that he has. He is improving and little by little returning to normal,” said the Portuguese coach.
Jiménez, 29, had been in the hospital since last Sunday, when he was rushed after suffering a head-to-head collision with Arsenal’s David Luiz.
He underwent surgery on Monday and remained in the hospital for observation until he could be transferred to his home, where he will begin his rehabilitation process.
To honor him, the Wolves players warmed up at Anfield this Sunday with jerseys in their support.
