Seeing the steps they have taken regularly for at least the last two years, Sony’s commitment to bringing more of their first-party games to PC is no longer indisputable. Starting with games that were once available only on the Playstation 4 or coincidentally released across generations, the ranks they released started to enter games that were only available for the Playstation 5. Starting with RETURNAL which is also supported by the DualSense feature option which can now be used optimally on a PC, now it’s the turn of other “light” games to come.
After being the subject of conjecture about what Sony’s next first-party game would arrive on PC, that curiosity was finally fulfilled after the official announcement was made. It is a game concocted by Insomniac Games that was predicted to make optimal use of the Playstation 5’s SSD capability – Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart which will arrive on the next PC. The porting process itself will be handled by Nixxes Software, which so far has a solid track record. The good news again? This release of the PC version will come with the usual additions of PC features, including support for multi-screen systems and much higher resolutions.
The PC version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is planned to be released on July 27, 2023. How about you? Interested in trying it later?
