Raspberry Pi 400 is homologated by Anatel for sale in Brazil

THE Raspberry Pi 400 passed the approval of Anatel and obtained its certificate of technical compliance, a positive sign for the sale of the keyboard with built-in computer here, in Brazil. The device was announced in late 2020 and can be used as a cheap mini computer, even for corporate purposes – just connect it to a monitor and voilà!

The card inside the keyboard has specifications similar to those of the Raspberry Pi 4, which includes a quad-core Broadcom BCM2711 chip accompanied by 4 GB of RAM. The Raspberry Pi 400 has two USB 3.0 ports and two micro-HDMI ports, to connect up to two monitors at the rear.

Abroad, the keyboard was launched for US $ 70, but it is also possible to purchase a complete kit that, in addition to the mini computer, includes mouse, microSD card, power supply and HDMI cable for US $ 100.

When did the Raspberry Pi 400 hit the market and for how much?

Despite the approval, there is still no specific date for the Raspberry Pi 400 to reach the national market. Filipe Macedo, founder of FilipeFlop, confirmed to the Tecnoblog that will launch the RPi400 in Brazil, but says that there is still no price or deadline defined. It is also worth keeping an eye on another official retailer, RoboCore, which started distributing the products of the Raspberry Pi Foundation in October.
