Raspadori, a delighted scorer “We wanted to impose ourselves in the game”

Giacomo Raspadori was one of the main protagonists of Italy’s victory tonight against France, the Napoli striker came on at half-time and was the originator of the second goal before scoring the third. Here is his reaction to Rai: “It was a great victory, when you beat an opponent like that, it’s because there were a lot of positive things. We know what the path is to follow, we had to pick ourselves up after a negative summer. We had the will to impose ourselves in the game, even if we sometimes withdrew to stay compact. We managed to do what we wanted to do.”

Raspadori then spoke about his position: “In nine and a half, that’s where I feel best. One of my main characteristics is to make myself available to teammates and to understand the game. I had and I have great coaches, I know how to find the right spaces when necessary.”
