Rasmus Hojlund scored again for Manchester United Of Premier League. He emphasized that he needed time to stay sharp in the Premier League.
Man United recorded a 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur. Competing at Old Trafford, Sunday (14/1/2024), MU took the lead thanks to Hojlund’s goal in the third minute.
Richarlison scored a goal for Spurs in the 19th minute. In the remaining match, Marcus Rashford put MU ahead again. Rodrigo Bentacur equalized again.
For Hojlund, this is his second goal in the Premier League. The Danish player was in the spotlight because he was barren in the Premier League.
Hojlund was brought in by MU from Atalanta last summer. He was bought for 64 million pounds sterling. With such a high price tag, Hojlund is clearly burdened with high expectations.
Hojlund is aware of the big demands that MU has for him. The 20 year old player asked all parties to be patient.
“There’s been a lot of focus on me not scoring goals in the Premier League, but I’ve always believed in myself,” Hojlund said on Sky Sports.
“It takes time, but it’s not like I don’t score goals. My teammates help me every day. You can always bring your confidence from the previous game. It’s instinctive,” said Hojlund add.
