Just before the season, the Buffalo Sabers announced that Frölunda’s top talent, Sweden’s Rasmus Dahlin, was the team’s new captain. And the beginning could have been better for the star back.
His team, the Sabers, had a rough start to the season and on the opening weekend, which was played in Prague, his team dropped two straight games against the New Jersey Devils. Then another loss, then at home in the USA, against the Los Angeles Kings before the first victory of the season was won this weekend.

Now there are reports that it has also spilled out for Rasmus Dahlin. News4Buffalo reporter Sara Holland is sharing a clip of what she says shows Sweden’s team captain getting into a fight with teammate Peyton Krebs after they hit each other.
“This is the fight that just happened between Rasmus Dahlin and Peyton Krebs. It looks like they hit a speed bump during practice,” she writes on X.

Additionally, Sara Holland says the crew immediately stepped in and broke up the fight. She also says that coach Lindy Ruff would not “pull gears too much” over the fight.
“He notes that Dahlin got tackled earlier and wanted to take it back,” she writes.
