Marcus Rashford widely reported to open the opportunity to leave Manchester United. Former top Manchester United player Rio Ferdinand believe, Rashford is indeed not happy.
The rumors blew not long after Manchester City beat Manchester City 1-4 at the Etihad, Sunday (6/3/2022). In that match, Rashford only played for 26 minutes after coming on for Paul Pogba in the second half.
The 24-year-old footballer is currently undergoing a difficult season after only contributing five goals. In 24 appearances throughout 2021/2022, Rashford has only started 14 times and has only played two full games in the Premier League since Ralf Rangnick managed Manchester United.
After Manchester United’s defeat at the weekend, Rashford Reportedly dissatisfied with the opportunity to play he got. Paris Saint-Germain are said to be interested in the England international if they have to let Kylian Mbappe go.
Marcus Rashford is already sheltered in Manchester United for 17 years from junior level. Ferdinand said he was surprised by Rashford’s desire to leave.
“It confuses me, I have to be honest. If this is true, I don’t believe this is real, I have to be honest,” Ferdinand told YouTube channel FIVE. “If it’s real, let’s just say now that you can only talk like that when you’re playing well.”

“I watched him and he looked like he was carrying a very big burden. I saw him like that for weeks, he didn’t look happy,” said the owner of 14 trophies with Manchester United.
“Marcus Rashford who used to come in, he used to have energy, passion, quality, work ethic. I don’t see those things now. If he was really honest with himself, he would admit it. I don’t know where this information comes from but I hope it’s not from Marcus’ side because I’d be embarrassed then, because he didn’t score the goals that was his job and so far not decisive.
