revealed Rasha Sami El AdlThe last moments in her brother Ahmed’s life before his passing yesterday, Saturday, and she wrote on her Facebook account the last details.
Rasha wrote, saying: “We were sitting by the sea in Dahab at sunset, laughing and crying together, and complaining to each other how much our father had missed us and how difficult life was without him, so we talked to each other and promised each other many things.”
She continued: “He returned to Cairo with the promise of a soon meeting where we would gather again. The meeting came after a phone call. Ahmed, your brother, was tired in the hospital. I ran to him and found fatigue and pain exceeding his age for two years. He could not breathe and his speech was difficult. I sat talking to him and making him laugh and trying to be easy on him, and leave him for a little while.” He was relieved, and while I was trying to transfer him to another hospital, his heart stopped beating for a few seconds before I went into labor. The doctors reassured me and said there was nothing wrong with him, he was so good, but my heart ached.”
She added: “She found me saying to him, ‘I want you to swim and say the Shahada with me,’ and you would prefer to say all the Qur’an that you have memorized. Dubek, I turned my back and am still going out to see about the ambulance and its transfer. I found doctors and nurses everywhere around Ahmed, trying to revive him. 38 minutes on the clock, trying, and I was standing in front of him with my heart.” It is being cut off, and my soul is coming out of me holding a thread of hope from the smoke, being cut off with its last breath, and Ahmed, my little, kind, compassionate and guiding brother, is gone.”

Among his works are the series “Haret Al-Yahud” and he worked as an assistant director in the series “The Account is Gathered” and an assistant director in the series “Against Al-Kasra.” Starring Nelly Karim, he also participated in cinema in the movie “The Dearest Boy” in 2021, and his last participation in art was in the series “Jamila”, during which he worked as an animation script.
