Ras Al Khaimah Scouts organizes the second Maritime Scout Festival

RAS AL KHAIMAH, 11th March / WAM / The Ras Al Khaimah Scouts Commission and Al Arabiya Private School, in cooperation with the Ras Al Khaimah International Marine Sports Club, organized the “Second Marine Scout Festival for Advanced Scouts” under the title “Sailing towards Sustainability”, with the participation of 50 scouts from Ras Al Khaimah Modern School.

This event – which was held at the headquarters of the Ras Al Khaimah International Club for Marine Sports – aims to provide the members of the association in the advanced scouting stage from students of the second and third cycles with marine skills and arts within the activities of marine scouting, which is one of the branches of the scouting movement that the association seeks to be the Ras Al Khaimah Scout Commission headquarters her in the state.

Mohammed Al Zaabi, Financial Director of the Emirates Scout Association and a member of the Board of Directors of the Ras Al Khaimah Scouts Commission, explained that the Commission is keen to establish many activities that contribute to the advancement of scouting activities in the country. For his part, Mohammed Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Scouts Commission, confirmed that marine activity is a popular activity for young people, as it develops in them a love of adventure and maintains personal safety and contributes to their physical preparation.

In his turn, Aref Al-Harnaki, Executive Director of the Ras Al-Khaimah International Marine Sports Club, said: “We seek to cooperate with various entities in the country, including the Emirates Scouts, to support our children from the scouts in order to learn marine activities to contribute to their development so that they are the best help for the homeland.”
