Rarity in Latvian music – the group “DCH” releases a video album – Music

In the middle of last summer, the men of the group “DCH” announced that they have prepared not only audio, but also video material for their debut album “Mēness”. Well, it finally happened – a video album was released.

In audio format, the album “Mēness” was released to a wider audience last November, but then the group “DCH” successively released one video version of the song, until the beginning of this month the last of them – the video version of the song “Ir direction” was released to listeners and viewers.

“There is a direction” is a composition about true feelings, about liveliness, about freedom. It is a message of a certain resistance to a system that, for hundreds of years, in various forms, has pushed us, as humanity, to the ground, washed our minds and influenced critical thinking. It is a song about swimming against the current, but at the same time, finding the right direction, let it go, ”the musicians say. “In the context of the album, the Moon reflects its two sides. It symbolizes the perspective of how things are often broken, seen, understood or perceived without thinking about their form or true nature.

The moon is also like a game between the visible and the invisible, between light and darkness, truth and lies. The baggage of the overall message of the roll includes reflections on how, by changing one set of actions, it is possible to influence a whole series of events that can significantly change, improve or, on the contrary, destroy something. The “moon” is mainly about the perception of human relationships. It’s about harmony. For peace. For truthfulness to oneself, longing and love at its highest point. ”

By the way, the group “DCH” will be able to be seen in action very soon – this Thursday, July 8, the “Moon Album Concert” will take place in the bar “Nemiers”.
