Here is a rarity for sale.
I have never seen a part like this in many years as a bicycle mechanic.
It is a historic 3-speed hub from STYRIA. Comes from a Puch bicycle. Made in Austria.
A search on the Internet has so far not yielded any clear results as to whether STYRIA produced everything itself in Austria, or only sourced the hub housing but the internal parts from Fichtel & Sachs or Sturmey Archer. So a mystery.
According to the latest information, Styria belongs to Puch. And the hubs were built in Austria according to the Sturmey Archer patent.
The hub is built into a 28-inch stainless steel rear wheel. A (retro)modern Schwalbe white wall tire is fitted.
There is also the original shift handle, a clamp, the pulley and the shift chain. So everything is complete and ready to install.
