Rare, the Phenomenon of the Micro New Moon Flanked by 2 Supermoons Will Happen : Okezone techno

JAKARTA – Phenomenon Moon New Micro flanked 2 times Supermoon will occur, which includes a rare event because it takes place once every 9 years.

Reporting from the EDUSAINSA LAPAN (BRIN) page, Friday (10/6/2022), this was conveyed by the Researcher of the BRIN Space Research Center, Andi Pangeran.

“This phenomenon last occurred in 2004 and 2013, so that it takes place every 9 years, it will take place again in 2031 and 2040,” said Andi.

Andi explained, the phenomenon of the Micro New Moon flanked by 2 Supermoons will take place on June 29, 2022, at 09.52 WIB, 10.52 WITA, or 11.51 WIT.

Then, on July 14, 2022, at 01:57 WIB, 02:57 WITA, or 03:57 WIT. This time it can be seen in all parts of Indonesia.

“For the Micro New Moon, in the morning before sunrise it cannot be seen,” he said.

He explained that this is because the Moon rises later than the Sun, then the surface of the Moon facing the Earth is not exposed to the Sun’s light so the Moon looks dark.

“This Micro New Moon also coincides with Ijtima or the Conjunction of the Beginning of the Month of Zulhijjah 1443 H,” he explained.

This means, continued Andi, if the new moon can be seen, then 1 Zulhijjah 1443 H will fall on Thursday, June 30, 2022 and Eid al-Adha will fall on Saturday, July 9, 2022.

However, if the new moon cannot be seen, then Zulqaidah 1443 H will be fulfilled 30 (istikmal) so that 1 Zulhijjah 1443 H will fall on Friday, 1 July 2022 and Eid al-Adha will fall on Sunday, 10 July 2022.

Like the Full Moon phase and the New Moon phase in general, this Micro New Moon phenomenon can cause higher tides than usual days.

This high tide is also known as the full moon. This is because the configuration of the Sun-Earth-Moon or Sun-Moon-Earth is in line and results in each of the differential forces (tidal forces) generated by the Moon and Sun having the same direction.
