The seller is asking 2.5 million crowns or one hundred thousand euros for the Czech luxury limousine produced in the 90s.
An ad for Tatra 613 Electronic has been placed on the Classics Cars Bohemia car sales portal. It is a very rare car that is interesting not only because only 17 examples were produced, but also because it has an unusual design, namely that this car, launched in 1993, is powered by an air-cooled 3.5 liter V8 a motor built into the rear that turns the rear wheels. The engine is equipped with an electronic fuel injection system and reaches a power of 200 HP.
The car was designed to compete with the best German limousines of the time, so the constructors tried to furnish its interior at a similar level of comfort and already equipped the basic equipment with a voice system that reported vehicle malfunctions and other important processes. A modern instrument cluster with two small displays was also installed alongside the traditional analogue clocks.
The Tatra 613 Electronic for sale with 231,000 km on the odometer is located in Prague and the seller is asking 2,500,000 Czech crowns, which is around 100,000 euros.
If we look at history, the 613 model was replaced in 1996 by the Tatra 700, which was actually a heavily upgraded version of the existing vehicle. The Seven Hundred received a larger variant of the 4.3-liter V8 engine, which gave it slightly more power and a higher top speed than the 613’s 230 km/h.
However, this model did not bring great success to Tatra either, and in 1999, after 75 copies were released, one of the last automobiles equipped with an engine air cooling system was retired.
