White biscuit on a blue ground in imitation of Wedgwood, depicting the right profile of the DUKE of BORDEAUX, Henri d’ARTOIS, son of the Duchess of Berry.
Posthumous son of Charles Ferdinand, Duke of Berry and grandson of Charles X, he became after the death of the latter (1836) the legitimist pretender to the throne of France under the name of Henri V.
The medallion is surrounded by a small bronze frame.
