“Rare Martian Meteorite Watch: Hermes Timepiece with Mother-of-Pearl Moons”

METRO SULTENG-This Hermes watch combines two moons made of mother-of-pearl with a dial made of an extremely rare Martian meteorite.

These meteorites formed in a similar way to lunar meteorites: an asteroid struck Mars, and in the process, rock was ejected from the planet’s surface into space and beyond the planet’s gravitational field.

Part of this debris reached Earth. It is the only material from other planets that exists on Earth.

On a watch, the two dials for time and date rotate about a central movable axis and always remain vertical even when turned.

They cover both moons in such a way that the visible surface of the moon reflects the current phase of the moon in the southern and northern hemispheres.

However, Hermes turns our world upside down and shows the phases of the Southern Hemisphere moon at the top of the dial.
