The piece, from 1954, is one of 27 paintings in which the artist explored light, with a sunlit sky over a dark street scene, and could sell for US$95 million.
according to The Art Newspaper, in 2022, another of the works in the series almost tripled the Belgian artist’s record when it sold for US$79.7 million at Sotheby’s in London.
