Liga Italia the ninth week of the season brought a rare goal in the match Bologna vs Frosinone. There is a player scoring a header from outside the penalty box.
Bologna vs Frosinone took place at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium, Sunday (22/10/2023) evening WIB. The hosts were able to win with a score of 2-1.
Bologna’s opening goal was scored by Lewus Ferguson in the 19th minute. Lorenzo De Silvestri then doubled the lead in the 22nd minute.
Well, De Silvestri’s goal happened very unexpectedly. Frosinone goalkeeper, Stefano Turati, punched the ball from a cross outside the penalty box, De Silvestri then grabbed it with a flying header.
He became the first player to score a header from outside the penalty box in Serie A since May 2011. Gennaro Gattuso previously did it in an AC Milan shirt against Cagliari.
