“These plants are listed in the Red Book of Ukraine and the Red Book of the Republic of Belarus as invaluable. Broad-leaved sleep is also listed in the Appendix to the 1979 Berne Convention as a species that is subject to special protection,” the experts say.
It is known that the International Union for the Conservation of Nature has assigned these plants to the IV protection category. Both species are important as objects of species biodiversity.
