Rare first Apple computer for sale for 1.2 million euros | NOW

A working copy of Apple’s first computer is listed on the auction site eBay offered for 1.5 million dollars (more than 1.2 million euros).

The computer is sold by Canadian Krishna Blake, who keeps it in a bank vault in Florida, USA. According to him, as was the case with other copies of the Apple-1, the computer was made by Apple founders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak themselves.

Blake tried to sell the Apple-1 earlier, but then asked for a higher price of $ 1.75 million (more than $ 1.4 million). According to him, computer museums and avid collectors are interested in the machine.

The Apple-1 has been sold for large amounts more often. In 2010, a copy including a letter signed by Steve Jobs was sold for $ 210,000 ($ 173,000). In 2014, another computer was sold for $ 905,000 (745,000 euros).

Blake’s computer is said to be rarer than many others, as it comes with the original wooden case included. At the moment there would be six copies on display, many of which are in museums.
