“Rara Avis: Cantata for Birds” – A Unique Intersection of Science Fiction, Environmental Poetry, and Music at Andreani Foundation’s Cabina Escénica Cycle

“Rara Avis”, a cross between science fiction and environmental poetic narrative

The Andreani Foundation emerges as a setting for a cultural proposal that challenges the traditional molds of art. From April 13 to 21, artists from various disciplines will gather in the Cabina Escénica cycle, an initiative that encourages experimentation in the scenic field. This event, characterized by its free access to the public, not only promises to be a showcase for emerging and established talents, but also a space for dialogue between art and the community.

The cycle will open with “Rara Avis: cantata for birds”, a work by Carolina Saade and Juanse Rausch, responsible for the dramaturgy, together with the actress Carolina Saade, the sound designer and violinist Maga Clavijo, and the pianist Sebastián Sonenblum, They will seek to capture the attention of the audience. The proposal ranges from science fiction to animal poetry, passing through narratives that link the song of a bird with the ability to restore a river, under the framework of a concert that intertwines the sound of the piano with the violin, interwoven with songs from the coastline and stories about the wind. The event stands out for its inclusion of significant cultural references, such as the work of the renowned science fiction novelist Ursula K. Le Guin and the influence of Ramona Galarza, a renowned singer from Corrientes, achieving a bridge between coastal music and fantasy narrative. .

The following week, from April 20 to 21, the stage will be “What They Live About,” a production that investigates the relationship between human beings and their environment, marking a reflection on the materiality and limits of our existence. The work is a collective construction by Mariana La Torre, Javier Olivera, Ale Perci, and Manuela Piqué.

“What they live on” proposes an innovative look at human-environment interaction

What They Live By thus represents a unique intersection between art, philosophy and everyday life, offering a fresh and original perspective on the contemporary challenges of living in a constantly changing world. The exhibition is the result of a collective construction that invites the public to take part in an open dialogue about the reconstruction of our lives and environments from the rubble of the past.

This edition of Cabina Escénica not only confirms the position of the Andreani Foundation as a reference in cultural promotion in Argentina, but also highlights the importance of offering open and accessible spaces for innovative art.

The initiative is not isolated, as it is inserted in a broader context of creative search and scenic experimentation.
