NEW YORK – Authorities arrested a Toronto Raptors player for allegedly assaulting a woman in New York City on Monday.
The events occurred shortly before 10 pm at a hotel on the East Side of Manhattan, police announced.
23-year-old Terence Davis, originally from Mississippi, was arrested after the NYPD received a 911 call about a woman who had allegedly been assaulted at a hotel at 3 Mitchel Place around 8:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, authorities discovered the 20-year-old woman with bruises on her face and body pain.
At the moment Davis is under arrest by the authorities on charges of assault and criminal destruction for allegedly breaking the victim’s cell phone.
