Raptors lose to Bucks in NBA Cup

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 23 points to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 99-85 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday, as both teams entered the NBA Cup with the two worst records in the league.

Bobby Portis added 17 points. Brook Lopez had 13, while AJ Green and Ryan Rollins had 12 each.

Gradey Dick led the charge for the Raptors with 32 points, a personal mark for the second-year player. Jakob Poeltl scored 13, one more than Quebecer Chris Boucher.

The Bucks increased their lead starting in the third quarter when they gave themselves a 21-point cushion with 12 minutes remaining in the game. The Raptors cut the lead to 10 points with less than five minutes remaining, but were unable to tie the game.

The Raptors had to make do without Immanuel Quickley, who suffered a partially torn ligament in his left elbow during a 123-103 loss to the Lakers on Sunday in Los Angeles.

Quickley previously missed eight games this season due to a contusion. He has averaged 15.3 points per game so far.

The Bucks were without Damian Lillard.
